Marco Peereboom (1968) grew up in Alkmaar, where he still lives. He has been a spewing volcano of creativity all his life. His teacher at fine painting Herman Smorenburg was surprised with his first painting – in that technique – that he already showed this with his first painting. That was in 2015. In the meantime he teaches fine painting himself. He also experiments with impressionism. But as he himself says: “I think that in fine painting – with or without the coarse touch à la Rembrandt – I have found that which is completely my thing.”
